That cartoon is ancient. I can remember seeing that on the bulletin board of the very first flight school I went to.
Even as someone who had not even bought my first logbook yet I laughed and laughed at that one!
This was on my Far Side Calander the day of my instrument check ride...I was just doing a Google search of the very same thing...too funny!
